One quiet morning on Sandy Hook beach, our avian friends, Booking Agent, a spoonbill, Blues Baritone, a blue heron, Talent Scout, an egret, and his daughter, Melody, enjoyed a hearty breakfast while contemplating their flight to Liberty Island. However, Duckie, a mallard duck, and Skye, a mute swan, tried to wake up their procrastinating friend, Theodore, a piping plover. When Theodore finally woke up, he demanded a hearty breakfast. However, Duckie and Skye convinced him to hurry up because they would miss their gig at Liberty Island.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the beach, Booking Agent, Blues Baritone, Talent Scout, and Melody grew tired of waiting for the others and flew without them.
Moments later, Duckie, Skye, and Theodore rapidly took off, hoping to catch up. Unfortunately, they flew into dense fog, making their journey difficult. However, our friends did not give up. Eventually, they heard the Staten Island Ferry’s horn and flew towards it. The fog miraculously lifted as they flew along the vessel’s side. Finally, Duckie, Skye, and Theodore spotted Lady Liberty, and they veered towards her.
Then, Blues Baritone spotted the fantastic trio and introduced them to an adoring audience. Welcome to New York! Now I wonder where they will go next. Perhaps Jamaica Bay, Long Island Sound, or even New England. We have to wait and see.
